Built between 1111 and 1131 and once owned by the abbey of St. Paul im Lavanttal, Schloss Gamlitz offers you wonderful county-house-style rooms in a unique historic ambience.

Schloss Gamlitz is an ideal base for hiking and biking tours along the wine road of Southern Styria and for trips to the golf courses and thermal spas of the region.

Around the castle you can find many great restaurants and country inns serving tasty regional cuisine. From April to November a free taxi service to/from the partner restaurants is offered daily until 23:30.

Many open-air swimming pools and lakes can be reached within a few minutes.
