Alquería de Morayma, Cádiar
This rural hotel is above the banks of the Guadalfeo River. It has traditional buildings, a huge outdoor pool and homemade cuisine.
The building has views of the Sierra Nevada Natural Park and the Contraviesa Mountains. This area was celebrated by British writer Gerald Brenan.
The Alquería de Morayma restaurant has products made at the hotel. This includes delicious olive oil and wine. There is Alpujarra cheese, stews and rice dishes.
There are 2 dining rooms. One has a stone floor, a fireplace and a garden with a terrace. The other has 19th-Century décor and several paintings.
The Alquería de Morayma has a library. There is a collection of books about the Alpujarra.
The unique workshop/conference room measures 90m². It has washing and changing facilities. There are also tables, chairs, mattresses and a sound system.
Each of the rooms has unique design. This includes local wood and stone.
