The local mountains of the Picos de Europa are a popular spot for hiking as well as canoeing along the nearby River Sella. You can also enjoying following the nearby Camino de Santiago pilgrimage trail, or the route which runs down into the picturesque resort of Llanes. A few hundred metres from the hotel you will find a horse riding school, whilst down at the beach you can enjoy the fine surf.
