The hotel is just 15 minutes’ drive from 2 of Costa Dauradas' best golf courses and there is plenty to see and do in the region surrounding the hotel, including guided wine and olive oil tours with tastings and outdoor activities such as 4x4 tours, quad bike riding, mountain biking, trekking, climbing and hiking. As well as exploring the beautiful countryside, you may like to explore the area’s history and culture, including its ancient monasteries and the Roman and medieval ruins. The hotel’s original modernist building dates back to the 1920s. The architect Ángel García Puertas worked on rebuilding the property as well as working on the interior design. Today the hotel offers stylish, contemporary, 5-star luxury and elegant, sophisticated accommodation.

The hotel’s own on site restaurant, La Gigantea, is run by the chef Joaquín Koerper, who has been awarded 2 Michelin stars.
