Hotel Palacio de la Magdalena, Soto del Barco

The hotel is situated within the Finca de la Magdelena country estate in the highest point of Soto del Barco boasting stunning views and a unique, peaceful setting.

The hotel itself is a palatial building that dates back to the 18th century and was home to a number of Spanish noble figures.

There are many recommended walking routes close to the hotel such as; la Ruta del agua, the coastal path Mirador del Espiritu Santo (which takes you to the Aguilar beach) and the North route, which is at least 1 kilometre and unites a castle with Los Quebrantos beach.



The hotel was entirely reformed in 2007 and consists of 37 rooms decorated in accordance with the rustic style of the Palacio de la Magdalena.
The most dominating feature of the library are two splendid windows, making it an ideal place to relax after a a day in the mountains or on the beach. You can also rest in front of a chimney fire in the T.V room.
