The Best Western Château de Cocove is a beautiful 18th century castle in Recques-sur-Hem, 15 min away from Calais.
Our building was renovated in 1995 and is set in a magnificent wooded park.

Beautifully restored, this 18th century chateau is set in magnificent wooded park land within the proximity of the port of Calais and the Channel tunnel. A great first stop in France. It offers authentic comfort and charm, with an excellent restaurant and choice of wines from the wine-shop in its cellars.


In Calais you can visit Musée de la Dentelle, which depicts the history of lace-making; or Cap Gris Nez and Blanc Nez. At Boulogne sur Mer there is the Nausicaa Aquarium, and the Sandelin Museum at Saint Omer.

At Eperlecques and Helfaut you will find the Second World War Museum, and you can try out the golf courses at Ruminghem and Saint Omer.
