This elegant 16th century Cotswold-stone coaching inn is surrounded by a tree-sheltered lawn and stands in its own paddock. A recently completed refurbishment programme has resulted in a stunning interior, entirely in keeping with the Grade II listed building. There are 5 stylish, spacious and beautifully appointed en suite rooms, each one with a generous, airy bathroom with totally modern facilities, including roll-top baths.

High-quality food is available 7 days a week and the inn’s impressive restaurant offers a mix of contemporary and traditional English cuisine, as well as great pub food.

The careful and sensitive refurbishment has ensured that none of the charm or country inn feel has been compromised. You will still find the original fireplace and a wonderful flagstone floor in the much-loved Charlton Bar, whilst the dining room has a fabulous wooden floor, strewn with rugs, and adorned with solid oak tables and chairs.
