The Collingdale is tastefully furnished to a high specification and the comfortable guest lounge provides a pleasant relaxed atmosphere to sit and read, watch TV or enjoy the splendid scenery. The gallery dining room, displaying original paintings by local artists, serves freshly prepared and carefully presented home cooked cuisine using locally farmed produce as available. The dining room leads to the sun terrace overlooking the harbour, where you can relax with your morning coffee or an aperitif in the evening. Relax in the cosy bar where a good selection of beers, wines and spirits including malt whiskeys and fine brandies are available for you to enjoy.

Tarka Trail - directly on doorstep for walking the Heritage coastal paths.

Lundy Island Ferry (0.3 miles/ 0.5km) - Regular sailings from Ilfracombe harbour to this unique unspoilt nature reserve.

Tunnels Beaches (0.6 miles/ 1km) - Ilfracombe's must-see attraction, a network of hand-carved tunnels leading to unique sheltered beaches and tidal Victorian bathing pools - Awarded Blue Flag status for past 3 years, alongside Woolacombe, Croyde Bay and Saunton Sands.

Wildlife & Dinosaur Park, Combe Martin (5 miles/ 8 km) - Within this natural setting on the edge of stunning Exmoor, dense woodlands and stunning botanical gardens are host to a incredible range of wildlife which come from all corners of the globe.

Rooms are situated over several floors so may not be suitable for guests with restricted mobility. Please advise at the time of booking if you would prefer a room on the lower floor and The Collingdale will endeavour to meet your request. For those happy to stay on a top floor, there are fantastic views.
