Cromlix House was built in 1874 as a family residence. Intended at the time as a cottage, little such modesty is evident today in the charming, idiosyncratic character of this remarkable building. Upon approach you will be presented with a huge carved sandstone doorway and a wood-panelled porch, which will lead you to the inviting chairs and warm log fires of the reception area.
The restaurant in Cromlix House is the perfect place to enjoy an unforgettable dinner with cuisine cooked by award winning chef Steve MacCallum. Surrounded by gleaming silver and sparkling crystal, you are sure to enjoy the relaxed atmosphere.
At Cromlix House there are 6 spacious double rooms and 8 vast suites. Every room is individually decorated in soft tones and with beautiful Victorian furniture, antiques and paintings. Some of the guest rooms have classic Victorian roll top baths. Guest rooms are fully-equipped with most modern amenities and many have stunning views overlooking the private grounds. Each room offers Molton Brown toiletries, armchairs, fitted wardrobe, fresh fruit, home made shortbread.
