Residence Il Gavillaccio, Figline Valdarno

Residence Il Gavillaccio is located in an extremely panoramic area bordering Chianti Region and is at the centre of an artistic triangle including the cities of Florence, Siena and Arezzo.

The residence is part of a medieval fortified area surrounding the former castle of Gaville, destroyed in the 13th century. The establishment is set in the remains of a facility serving the castle. Today it has been restored and brought back to life, respecting its original characteristics and using traditional materials. Nonetheless all the apartments offer state-of-the-art comforts.

The complex is set 7 km from Figline Valdarno. The village's historic centre boasts a beautiful town square where you can find various shops, boutiques, pharmacies, pubs, restaurants and banks. Figline is also served by a railway station, with trains leaving for Florence S.M.N. central station every half hour.
