Situated 4 km from Zambujeira do Mar and about 20 km from Vila Nova de Milfontes, within the Natural Park of south-east Alentejo, this unit provides a new concept in tourism.

The Herdade Do Touril De Baixo provides a relaxing retreat whatever the time of year. In the summer, cool off in the gorgeous outdoor pool, and in the winter, curl up in the lounge by the warmth and character of our real fire. One can simultaneously enjoy the comfort and tranquillity of a rural environment together with the privilege of affinity with the sea, thanks to the house’s excellent location on the Vicentina Coast. Touril de Baixo Estate has the advantage of being close to the beautiful beaches and typical restaurants of the region, combining all the ideal conditions for an escape from stress.

Close to the farmhouse is the Tonel Beach, approximately 400 metres of desert beach. Nearby you have many beautiful beaches to visit, such as Zambujeira do Mar, Alteirinhos, Carvalhal and Almograve.

Cabo Sardão: a beautiful cape where you can enjoy a breathtaking view over the Atlantic Ocean and take a look at the several species of seabirds that live there.

Forte de Vila Nova de Milfontes: a fortress built in 1552 over the ruins of an ancient Arab fortification.

Barragem de Santa Clara: a dam in the Mira river where you can practise several water sports, such as fishing, swimming; water-skiing and windsurfing.

Nearby you can also find sport and leisure facilities for the practice of several activities, such as rambling; horse riding; fishing and diving. For night time entertainment, there are several pubs and discos.
